On this episode of History Jacksonville, George Farrar brings you amazing pictures and illustrations from 1919 thru the mid 1970s, as Jacksonville was experiencing phenomenal growth. He shows you the openings of the old Acosta, and Main Street Bridges, Jacksonville’s old railroad station, the Annie Lytle School, The Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Coliseum, the Regency Square Mall, Downtown and the riverfront as it was in the 1960s, and even more places from yesteryear. Also, he spotlights the historical restoration of the Elena Flats Apartment Building, built in 1909.
