Welcome to the 2nd in a series of reports about Mayor Lenny Curry’s proposed city budget. I highlight some of the big spending proposed for the Sheriff’s Office, The Neighborhoods Department, and the choices the Mayor has made as citizens are asked to vote to continue a half cent portion of the sales tax into as late as 2060. His proposals are subject to review and approval by the City Council, which will hold multiple public hearings about it.
