On November 22 , 1963 President John F Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas , Texas during a motorcade thru the city -in front of his wife First Lady Jackie Kennedy as Governor John Connally was wounded. They had landed at Love Field and descended from Air Force One to be greeted by dignitaries, media, and a mostly friendly crowd, along with protestors.
